I’ve been just trying to (between organising photos) enter some online comps again and got two winners this week:
Over at Australian Photography (which is a cool Australian based photography site/forum, check it out) I got photo of the week with my latest Orangutan photo “Edges“. Click here
And on POTD which publishes “Camera” magazine here in Australia, I got photo of the day with “Waiting”. This image will go into the running to be published in the magazine out of this month’s winning photographs.
In the meantime, here a few newly uploaded images.
The first is a pair of White Cheeked Gibbons. I’ve photographed this pair a lot and the male (black) is a big show off, all for the benefit of his watchers. The girl gets a little grumpy and you will see it plainly and clearly on her face. Hopefully she will retire soon from the enclosure and get her peace and quiet. I leave her alone when it’s clear she’s had enough of being watched.

And a Lion - love this thoughtful gaze, and he’s the lion with the most beautiful face at his zoo - so he always ends up my favourite shot.
